MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com-COMSTOCK PARK –The West Michigan Whitecaps, in conjunction with the Detroit Tigers, announced today that left handed pitcher Mauricio Robles has been promoted to High A Lakeland and will start today against the Daytona Cubs.

Robles is 4-4 with a 4.63 ERA and 71 strikeouts in 56.1 innings pitched this season. He is also tied for third in the Midwest League in strikeouts.

Although Robles was selected to the Midwest League All-Star team, he will not attend the game.
