Salt Lake Bees RHP Fernando Rodriguez Assigned to Double-A Arkansas Travelers

MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com-SALT LAKE CITY (June 27, 2009) –The Salt Lake Bees announced today that the club has reassigned right-handed pitcher Fernando Rodriguez to Double-A Arkansas and recalled right-handed pitcher Bobby Mosebach from the Travelers.

Rodriguez,25, has appeared in 23 games for the Bees in 2009, owning a 1-1 record with a 7.54 ERA and 25 strikeouts. The El Paso, Texas native was originally selected by the Angels in the 18th round of the 2003 draft.

Mosebach, 24, has appeared in 19 games for Arkansas in 2009, owning a 2-0 record with a 0.34 ERA and six saves. He has appeared in seven games with the Bees this season, owning a 1-0 record and 3.38 ERA with one save. The West Palm Beach, Fla. native was originally selected by the Angels in the ninth round of the 2005 draft.
