Mario Bliznak Reassigned To Manitoba Moose
Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at 11:47PM MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com -The Vancouver Canucks, the NHL affiliate of the Manitoba Moose, today announced they have re-assigned centre Mario Bliznak to the Moose.
Bliznak, 22, appeared in his first two games in the NHL after being recalled by Vancouver on Oct. 30/09. He made his NHL debut that night @ Anaheim Ducks. The native of Trencin, Slovakia has also played in 13 games so far this season with the Moose and has collected five points (2g & 3a) along with two penalty minutes. Last season, Bliznak appeared in 64 games with Manitoba where he scored 16 points (7g & 9a) and collected 24 penalty minutes. He has also played in 21 career Calder Cup playoff games with the Moose where he scored five points (3g & 2a) and eight penalty minutes.

Bliznak was originally drafted by the Vancouver Canucks in the seventh round, 205th overall, in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
