First Pulaski Baseball Hall of Fame Class Announced

MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com - MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com -PULASKI _ The Pulaski Mariners and Pulaski Baseball Inc. has unveiled the 2008 class for the first ever Pulaski County Baseball Hall of Fame. The group includes five former players and three coaches among a group of 12 that includes individuals that have played, coached or lived in the county.

 
Former Atlanta Brave pitcher Steve Avery leads the group. Avery played his rookie season in Pulaski with the Braves. The inductees also include former Pulaski County and Christiansburg High School coach Wally Flinchum Sr, big league manager Grady Little, and one-time Pulaski Counts,New River and Salem Rebels’ coach Doc Ayers.
