Salt Lake Bees Shut Out Portland Beavers 4-0 - PCL

MLN - THE RAW FEED - www.mlntherawfeed.com -

Salt Lake - The Salt Lake Bees clinched their third consecutive Pacific Northern Division title with a 4-0 win over the Portland Beavers on Wednesday night.  Nick Adenhart, Henry Bonilla and Chris Bootcheck combined to toss the team's sixth shutout of the season, their first since May 1st at Memphis.  Adenhart (8-13) snapped a personal three game skid as he went six innings and allowed five hits while equaling his season high with eight strikeouts.  Bonilla worked two scoreless innings and Bootcheck tossed a 1-2-3 ninth inning to close out the game.

The Bees took a 1-0 lead in the first as Brad Coon and Freddy Sandoval singled and Coon scored on a double play grounder by Kendry Morales.  They stretched their lead to 3-0 in the second on a two run triple by Gary Patchett and the final run came home on a bases loaded walk by Bobby Wilson in the third inning.  Coon and Sandoval led the Bees with two hits each.
