MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com – FORT MILL, S.C.  – August 31, 2008 – The Durham Bulls beat the Charlotte Knights 10-2 at Knights Stadium Sunday night.  Durham’s Chris Richard led the way for Durham with two home runs and five RBI’s.

            Charlotte starter Wes Whisler fell short of his 13^th win of the season.  Whisler did go eight innings allowing seven runs off of nine hits.           

            The Knights only runs of the game came from RBI’s by Josh Fields and Jason Tyner.  The Knights will enter tomorrow’s Labor Day Season Finale looking to match last seasons win total.

            First pitch for tomorrow’s game against Durham is scheduled for 12:15 PM.
