MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com-BOWIE, Md. – The Bowie Baysox released the team's complete 2010 schedule today. The season opens with a seven-game home stand at Prince George's Stadium on Thursday, April 8, and concludes on Monday, Sept. 6, as the team finishes a four-game series in Richmond, Va. In all, the Baysox will play 142 games across 13 home stands and 13 road trips. The Baysox also host fireworks displays 20 times in 2010, including every Saturday night the team is home.
The Baysox most frequent travel destination is Richmond, as the Baysox play 15 games in four series against the franchise that was formerly known as the Connecticut Defenders. Bowie heads to Richmond for the first time to play a three-game series Friday, April 30, through Sunday, May 2.
The Baysox hit the road to take on the Harrisburg Senators 11 times, the Erie SeaWolves 10 times, the Akron Aeros seven times, the Binghamton Mets and Trenton Thunder six times, and the New Britain Rock Cats four times. The Reading Phillies, Altoona Curve, Portland Sea Dogs and New Britain Rock Cats all host the Baysox three times each.

The Baysox will play 14 games at home against Richmond; 13 against Erie; 11 against Akron; six against Binghamton and Harrisburg; four against Altoona, Trenton and New Britain; and three against New Hampshire, Reading and Portland.
Baysox home games are scheduled to start at 7:05 p.m. Monday through Friday, 6:35 p.m. Saturdays, and either 2:05 p.m. or 6:05 p.m. Sundays. The games on Thursday, April 29; Wednesday, May 12; Monday, July 12; and Wednesday, July 21, are scheduled to start at 11:05 p.m. Are You an Insider Yet?
