Notes: The Snappers offense couldn’t keep up with the Kane County Cougars Sunday afternoon. The Cougars scored four quick runs in the first innings leading the Snappers to play catch up.

The Snappers posted three separate solo home runs by Ramon Santana, Angel Morales, and Michael Harrington that led to most of the Snappers scoring. The offense cut the lead down to 5-3 at one point in the game till Kane County pulled away late and finishing off the ball game 11-4.

After the first frame starting pitcher Daniel Berlind settled down and went 5 1/3 innings while striking out five batters.

The Snappers hit the road starting Tuesday night in Peoria against the Peoria Chiefs and will be back on Sunday, June 14th against the Clinton Lumberkings. On Sunday, June 14th it will be Kyle Murphy bobblehead giveaway.
