Toledo Mud Hens Top Norfolk Tides 4-1 - IL

TOLEDO - Toledo's Chris Lambert and Freddy Dolsi combined to allow one run on five hits as the Mud Hens knocked off Norfolk 4-1 Sunday afternoon.

Lambert (2-5) struck out six in seven innings of work, while Dolsi pitched the final two frames to earn his second save of the year.

The loss was Norfolk's third straight, matching the Tides season-high. The Tides have scored just one run during the three-game skid.

Chris Tillman (5-2) suffered the loss for the Tides, as the 21-year-old yielded three runs on four hits in five innings of work. Tillman struck out seven while walking one, throwing 55 of his 89 pitches for strikes.

The Tides scored their lone run of the contest in the fourth inning, as Justin Christian led off the inning with a single, stole second, then scored on an RBI double by Jeff Fiorentino.

The Tides and Mud Hens will square off again on Monday night, with first pitch scheduled for 7:15. Bobby Livingston (0-0, 2.77) is slated to take the mound for Norfolk against Mud Hens righty Ruddy Lugo (4-4, 3.86).
