Beloit Snappers Lose 3-1 To Lansing Lugnuts

MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com -The Lansing Lugnuts were able to pick up the win Sunday afternoon against the Beloit Snappers 3-1.
Snappers’ starting pitcher Bobby Lanigan pitched six solid innings and struck out five batters and only gave up three earned runs in the contest.
Bruce Pugh came on and replaced Lanigan and struck out three hitters in two innings of relief and only gave up one hit.
The offense managed to earn eight hits as lead off man James Beresford and Ramon Santana each had a pair of hits as Beresford scored the lone run for the Snappers.
Michael Harrington added his 26th double of the season which leads the Snapper and is fourth best in the Midwest League.
The Snappers and Lugnuts close out their three game series Monday at noon as Liam Hendriks takes the mound for the Snappers.
