The Mudcats exploded for 13 hits in the game, including multi-hit performances from five Mudcats. After Jose Castro scored on a throwing error in the 2nd inning, the Mudcats would score the remaining seven runs on two long balls. 3B Juan Francisco drilled an opposite field three-run home run in the third inning.
