The same result occurred in Game 2 on 9/10, this time a 6-2 win over Reading…CA CARLOS SANTANA homered in the fourth and finished 2-for-4 at the plate…3B LONNIE CHISENHALL went a perfect 3-for-3 with a walk…LF JERAD HEADadded 3RBI after going 2-for-4 with two doubles…RHP JEANMAR GOMEZ got the win going seven innings and giving up just one run on six hits.

Game 2 Recap: It took 11 innings but Mahoning Valley evened the Finals with a 3-2 over Staten Island…The Yankees scored first in the fifth but the Scrappers responded with two to tie the game…CA CHUN CHEN hit a walk-off home run in the 11th to steal the win and force a deciding Game 3…RHP MARTY POPHAM went 5.0IP and gave up 2R on 4H…Winner RHP CORY BURNS pitched 3.1 innings and allowed just one hit.
