Individual Game Tickets for Mississippi RiverKings on Sale Sept. 15

Southaven, MS - Mississippi RiverKings hockey fans will soon be able to start purchasing single game tickets for the 2008-09 Central Hockey League season. Individual game ticket sales will begin on Monday, September 15th at the DeSoto Civic Center box office, located at 4560 Venture Drive in Southaven.Box office hours at the DCC are from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday-Friday, and from 12 Noon to 4:00 PM on Saturdays. The box office will also remain open on RiverKings’ game nights until the start of the third period. Ticket prices start at only $10 each for the regular season.
September 15th will also be the first day that tickets will be available for the two exhibition games between the RiverKings and the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs. The Northeast Division rivals will meet at the DeSoto Civic Center on Friday, October 10th, and Saturday, October 11th, at 7:05 PM each night.
Special ticket prices will be available for both exhibition contests against Bossier-Shreveport. All lower level tickets including those in the Blue and Gold level will be just $15. All upper level tickets including those in the Red and Orange level will be only $10.
Activities surrounding the October 11th exhibition contest will include more than just the game that night. As part of the team’s 2008 “Fan Fest”, a free open skating event will be held in the afternoon, followed by a free tail-gate party before the game gets underway.
The free open skating event will be from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Saturday. Skates and ice time will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and children under age 18 must have a parental waiver signed before they can take the ice.
Sponsored by the “The Kings Court” Booster Club, a tail-gate party will be held from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Saturday, the 11th. Food and drinks (while supplies last) will be provided by Boar’s Head Meats, Coca-Cola, and Miller Lite/Great River Beverage.
RiverKings season ticket holders receive complimentary tickets to both games and their complimentary tickets will be included in the 2008-09 season ticket holder package. The season ticket holder packages will be available to be picked up at the RiverKings’ front office, beginning Monday, October 6th, between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM Monday-Friday.
Packages may also be received in the Grand Hall of the DeSoto Civic Center for one hour prior to game time on the 10th, 11th, and 17th. If you are unable to pick-up your package between these dates, please contact your RiverKings Ticket Representative to make other special arrangements.
