Tulsa Oilers Weekly Release

MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com -Still Rollin’: The Tulsa Oilers, winners of seven straight games (their longest wining streak in seven years) will look to equal the franchise record for consecutive wins on Thanksgiving night when they host the Missouri Mavericks at the BOK Center at 7:05. The next night the Oilers will host the defending Ray Miron President Cup champion Texas Brahmas at 7:35 p.m. The Oilers will then play at Texas on Sunday at 4:05.

Make It 7: Last week the Oilers defeated Wichita 4-3, Missouri 5-4, Wichita 4-3 in a shootout, then wrapped up the week with a third win over Wichita, 4-2 on Sunday.

Aok @BOK: All is well for the Oilers on home ice this season. They are a perfect 7-0-0 at the BOK Center, and are the only team in the CHL with an unblemished home record.

Both Ends: The Oilers have league leaders at each end of the ice. Rob Hisey is the CHL leading scorer with 11 goals and 19 assists for 30 points. Goaltender Kevin Armstrong is top in the league with 10 wins.

Real Plus: The Oilers also have the top two players in the league’s plus minus category. Defenseman Derek Eastman tops the league at +14 and right wing T.J. Caig is second at +12.

Nearly Perfect: It took seven home games before the Oilers surrendered a power play goal. The Oilers have killed 33 of 34 penalties at home for a 97.1 percent home ice efficiency.

Tickets Here: Tickets for all Oilers games are available at the BOK Center box office or by calling 1-866-7BOK CTR (726-5287). Tickets can also be purchased on line at www.tulsaoilers.com and at area Reasor’s Grocery Stores.
