Cincinnati Cyclones Trainer Bob Case to be on Staff for 2010 ECHL All-Star Game

MLN Newswire - www.mlntherawfeed.com-CINCINNATI, Ohio –The Cincinnati Cyclones, ECHL
affiliate of the NHL’s Montreal Canadiens and
Nashville Predators, learned this afternoon that they
will have athletic trainer Bob Case representing the
team and the American Conference at the 2010 ECHL
All-Star Game presented by Reebok on Wednesday,
January 20 at Ontario, California.

Bob Case is in his tenth year as an athletic trainer
in professional hockey and his fifth with the
Cincinnati Cyclones.  Case, 44, has been a part of
four championship teams during his career and this is
his second ECHL All-Star Game appearance (2003-04 at
Peoria).  

The Park Hills, KY native attended Eastern Kentucky
University and received a degree in Physical
Education / Athletic Training.  Case then earned a
Masters degree in Physical Education from Morehead
State University before launching his career.ADVERTISEMENT

In addition to his time as a hockey athletic trainer,
Bob has also worked three years at Methodist College
(Fayetteville, NC) and spent three seasons working
with indoor football.  He works for Beacon
Orthopaedics, the official medical provider of the
Cyclones for the past four seasons, and is on
assignment to the team.  He and his wife, Leslie,
reside in Anderson Township.

Case joins Cyclones rookies Matt Pierce (forward) and
Jeremy Smith (goaltender) at the All-Star Game.  It
is the first time in team history that two players
will appear in an All-Star Game together.

The Cyclones host the Trenton Devils tonight at
7:30pm.  The club is on the road on Friday night with
a 7:30pm clash at Wheeling, which will be carried on
1530 Homer – The Sports Animal.
